Unbelievable!!! These people have billed me for four consecutive months $1,900.00 (full patient billing price). This was for a breast biopsy on my wife that was sent to them by Carti. Carti gave them our BCBS of Texas insurance information. The first billing I called to find out why they had not billed our insurance and was told they filed it incorrectly as BCBS of AR. Patients please be aware, Arkansas Pathology sends bills without billing insurance! They claim no insurance was on file, however, all other providers billed insurance. I'll be calling the Attorney General tomorrow to file a formal complaint. Dr. R. Vance Parker
It seems like we all share a similar experience with the billing department. I got a final notice (the first letter) 7 months after my procedure occured.
They told us this was just a wellness procedure for my husband bc of his age and it was covered. In the paperwork, he noted occasionally reacting to food. They charged it like a preexisting condition, yet told him he was fine and nothing was wrong. Then RAKED us with an outrageous bill that we PAID IN FULL electronically, yet we just got turned into a debt collector who mailed the letter 6 days after we payed online. I received a bill from Arkansas Pathology Associates claiming I owed them $115.00 for services rendered. I am on Medicare with Humana Supplement. I pay almost $300.00 a month for the Supplement and ALL charges approved by Medicare are paid. I immediately called and I explained they filed as Advantage. They refused to listen and sent it to collections! From what I have read in the reviews and from my experience, this "business" needs to be closed down!!!
