HORRIBLE!!! When I finally received my bill 4 months after having my child, it was not run through my insurance. I called MULTIPLE times to get them to run the bill through my insurance!!! I was assured that they were handling it and contacting my insurance and that it would be taken care of. NINE MONTHS after my birth, I get sent my debt collections noticed. I was told this would NOT happen!! I am not someone who goes without paying bills. To say I am LIVID, is an understatement.
I have a bill from them where they never sent it to my insurance. Ive spoken to billing 2-3 times this year and they promised it would not be sent to collections since they are still working on the insurance claim! Well, today I get a call from a bill collections agency on this bill!!! Im not paying a bill at all until insurance covers their portion and AR Pathology will be hearing from me first thing in the morning!!
Unbelievable!!! These people have billed me for four consecutive months $1,900.00 (full patient billing price). This was for a breast biopsy on my wife that was sent to them by Carti. Carti gave them our BCBS of Texas insurance information. The first billing I called to find out why they had not billed our insurance and was told they filed it incorrectly as BCBS of AR. Patients please be aware, Arkansas Pathology sends bills without billing insurance! They claim no insurance was on file, however, all other providers billed insurance. I'll be calling the Attorney General tomorrow to file a formal complaint. Dr. R. Vance Parker
It seems like we all share a similar experience with the billing department. I got a final notice (the first letter) 7 months after my procedure occured.
