I went to this hospital's ER for what felt like a possible stroke. I was told I would need to wait until a bed was available. Two hours later, after watching several people taken back that arrived after me, I went to ask the lady at the desk how much longer might it be because my symptoms were getting worse. My husband came here for an ablation in 2017. Monica Lo was his admitting physician. He suffered a 21cm-long injury to the inside of his esophagus during the insertion of a TEE probe. Two days later he was transferred to another institution where he had emergency surgery to remove most of his esophagus because it was not salvageable. The entire time we were at the Heart Hospital, Monica Lo consistently and repeatedly denied any role in/knowledge of a difficult probe insertion.
