Great location to walk to wine tasting and restaurants. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was great!

After driving all day and finding nothing in the nearest large city, we happened upon the Arizona Sunset Motel. Let me say that Heresford, AZ is a HUGE feedlot and not much else. So we were cautiously optimistic when we arrived. Its an adorable motel right out of a Route 66 movie. There is a cute little outdoor patio but the swimming pool is not open. Been traveling across the country and I can say hands down this is the best budget hotel we've stayed at. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, the area was beautiful, and, most importantly, the hotel dog was a sweetie pie. They also do made-to-order breakfast, though we didnt wake up early enough to try it. 10/10 would stay here again.

Stayed for one night on our way from Utah and this was our favorite hotel. Squeaky-clean room, great service and a made-to-order breakfast in the morning. Also- missing Macy (the dog) already!

Overall a wonderful experience from check-in to check-out. Booking on their website was easy, staff were extraordinarily friendly, and the room was great. Best of all, Macy the puppy, hangs out in the lobby to great you whenever you come in for breakfast. Edit 07/08/2025: I once again stayed during my trip and I’m blown away how great this place is.
