Home closed down with little to no notice forcing family members to re-home their loved ones elsewhere. Advised that a few of the families were filing lawsuit's for breach of contract but unknown if that actually happened. Supposedly re-opening with a new venture dealing with mental health patients or something of that nature. Would not recommend this facility.
When we were told that my dad would need to be removed from his residence and separated from my mom because he needed 24 hour care we were devastated. We knew we didn’t want to put him in a nursing home but wanted a place that would continue to feel like home to him. We found Arizona Love and Care. The home is beautiful and we felt comfortable moving my dad to his new residence. The care he was getting was adequate and he seemed to be comfortable. Had a very special family member here and all they did was belittle him by hand feeding him with a bib, wanted to put him on sleeping pills so they did not have to get up, NO EMPATHY it is all about the money.. Highly suggest looking into a different location for your family member. Visitors are required to call and make arrangements to see their loved ones and it takes multiple times to get them to answer
