I really do not understand some of these negative reviews.. We purchased our fireplace about 3 years ago and had a great experience with the sales group. A representative visited our house and worked very close with their service personnel to give us the best design and installation. For the past two years we have a rep from their service department come to our house to clean the inside glass window and give the fireplace a general "check-up" to assure its effeciency.
