Tucker Woo Powell On Saturday we took one of our rats, Tucker, into the vet to be treated for some heavy breathing and congestion. We paid $200 for treatment and an EXAMINATION from one of their "exotic veterinary specialists" He was diagnosed with pneumonia. We did EVERYTHING the vet told us to do. Wonderful Staff and Excellent Doctors I recently dropped my tortoise off at the hospital because he was blowing bubbles out of his nose. The staff was kind to take him in, despite their busy schedule, and work him in asap. They listened to my concerns, paid attention to my tortoise and contacted me as soon as my pet was seen. I highly recommend taking exotic pets to this hospital.
Good Vet I think doctor Wright is a decent vet. He does seem to know rabbits better then most vets. His pricing is high and his staff is not as knowledgable as I like.
Great Vet and Great Staff I came upon this animal hospital when I attended an open house for animal rescues. I was impressed by what I saw with the Vet and the staff. They gave folks a tour of the hospital and explained all the services they offer for Exotic pets(ie, Rabbits, Birds, Reptiles, etc) Needless to say, I decided to give them a try when my bunny girl was experiencing a bout of incontinence. Great place for the piggies! We have 4 adorable guinea pigs and have ran into problems finding a qualified vet that works on exotic animals. Last year this animal hospital opened so we thought we would take the piggies down to have their nails trimmed and ask some questions. The trimming took about 3 minutes for the pair of guinea pigs and the price was very reasonable. They were clean, professional and asked all the right questions about their health. If you have an exotic animal then this is the place to go!
AZEAH I noticed that this vet has not had a review on this site in a while. I wanted to update this to improve the opinion people would get from looking at this vet. This vet is now run by Dr Jay Johnson and Dr. Mike Corcoran.They and their staff are all extremely knowledgeable and gentle with the animals. I have been taking my rabbits here for 3 years and have always had a great experience considering my pets were sick. They can do most anything right there in the office.
