Dr. Shifat Ahmed is the most amazing and caring doctor i have had the pleasure to know. I had seen Dr. Wells for my last 2 colonoscopies but he since retired. I go every 10 years. This year it was time to go again but it had been over 14 years and I was apprehensive on who to see now. As i get older (67) I get more nervous about my doctor appointments. Horrendous experience with the office here. I booked a procedure months out. I call them the week before to confirm the prior auth has been done. I can't get in touch with them for the life of me. I reached out to my insurance company to see if they had received anything. My insurance company is easier to get in touch with than this office! My insurance company reached out to them too (with me on the phone) multiple times at numbers they gave, they did not pick up. Do not go here. I was seeing a provider for months that was unable to help with my symptoms. When I requested to see a different provider they refused to transfer me and told me I would either have to stay with the provider that wasn’t helping me or go to another practice. Terrible experience
I first saw PA Morgan Binder and definitely feel like my issues are being addressed rather than being dismissed, which is hard to find in many medical offices. Dr. Schwartz is incredible, and he performed my procedures at the Arizona Endoscopy Center and am grateful he is my doctor. I haven’t had any issues with scheduling and to date, haven’t had any issues with billing either.
My husband loved the doctor that performed the procedure. However, every other person involved - from scheduling to billing - did not do their job. We have had issues with them entering (and creating) a chart with the wrong birthday. They couldn’t get the insurance billing correct. We received a bill for $775, twice, for a covered procedure. I would never recommend this place due to incompetence.
