I can’t say enough good things about this office. I’ve taken both of my daughters here. We were initially treated at the Scottsdale location (also wonderful) then did all follow ups in mesa. Melinda helped me both times and was very helpful. With my first daughter she was a micropreemie and the hospital told us pumping and bottles was best even though I expressed wanting to directly breastfeed. Emily has been such a blessing! Our baby had a severe tongue tie. Once the procedure was done at their Scottsdale location, we followed up with Emily to do additional consulting on all things breastfeeding. As a first time mom who knew hardly anything about breastfeeding, a proper latch, pumping, etc. she really took her time to work with me and my husband and our baby. This place is absolutely amazing. The lactation consultants and Dr. Cara really know what they are doing. Not only do they specialize in oral ties but the treat the mother as well for anything that could be effecting their breastfeeding journey. I am so happy I was told about this practice and my son and I are getting to bond through our breastfeeding journey!
My son had a tongue and lip tie which was really tough because he would chomp when latching. We came here for assistance and Melinda helped us. She truly cares about helping which is so nice when you need someone to be your village and hold your hand through all of this; breast feeding is not intuitive. She helped me find my right flange size, helped us though his tie release, and helped me boost my low milk supply (now I have a really nice freezer stash). Is it weird to say I miss my IBCLC?? Camara was so incredible to work with and helped my breastfeeding journey immensely. Camara was hilarious and really helped take away any worry or stress I was feeling as a first time mom. She gave me the confidence and support that I needed to push through the tongue tie revision with Dr Cara, difficulty latching, and several clogged ducts.
