Tonya has worked with my family for several years. She uses art, games, sand and water play, role play in addition to traditional therapy approaches. My child feels safe and welcome in that space. Tonya helps educate us on techniques that could work and then helps us practice to manage the ongoing experience. We also love that she brings a therapy dog. My child has really responded well to that. Finding a good match with a therapist is a very personal thing, and we have really had a great match with Tonya.
I find it necessary to respond to the review posted by my ex-wife as her review was written out of anger and as a result of her losing a recent court case and time with our son. Rather than accept that it was her actions that resulted in the change in custody she is lashing out at others showing exactly the behavior that resulted in the change.
