They are not upfront about how much their appraisals actually cost. They sent an invoice with one price and then sent an additional appraisal release fee so that I paid $1,000 for my appraisal. If I had not been strong armed into paying it, I would have gone with someone else. It's dishonest business, false advertising, and unprofessional to not disclose fees and the reason for last minute and un expected price jumps. The only positive reviews I have seen are from lenders, not home-buyers.
Can’t close because no one can get appraiser to finalize the appraisal. Also, they are charging more to finalize the appraisal.
