“We used to love this place for its great food quality, but our latest experience with the staff was incredibly disappointing. We had a confirmed reservation for 5, but because our fifth guest was a child, they tried squeezing us into a 4-person table. When they later moved us to an unacceptable table behind a counter, we refused. No alternative solutions were offered, so we had to leave. Excellent food means nothing without basic hospitality.”
Arigato offers a great price for the amount of food you can consume during your dining visit but the quality of the sushi rolls are about what you would expect from a buffet style restaurant. The rice is bland and the seafood is subpar as well. The same goes for the wasabi and other condiments. I wouldn’t go so far as to say the food is bad, it just doesn’t taste like good high quality sushi that would make you want to back.
