I can never get a response from the receptionist. I was on certain medications that your not supposed to stop taking and because I couldn’t get through to get a refill I went off causing me major headaches and vomiting. This happens often. Then when you finally get through they book you in two weeks later, so you still have to wait for your prescription refill.
Worst experience with front desk lady this morning iver the phone. Nezeri if thats how her name is spelt, was giving me the run because I asked to cancel an appointment for my 86 year old grandmother who doesn't commute very well. Today we have weather with 5-10cm of snow and this female employee kept pushing me to take my grandma in OR for myself to go in as a power of attorney. EXCUSE ME! Front desk people are worst. The concern for patients is zero.
Dr. Malik is truly one of the best doctors knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated to his patients. I have complete trust in his care and would highly recommend him as a physician. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the front desk staff. The receptionists are highly unprofessional and appear to lack proper training in both communication and patient service. Very difficult to get prescriptions renewed. Twice in 2 weeks request sent from community pharmacy. Had to call, first receptionist had no idea, instructed me to call back as physician on his lunch break. Called back, second receptionist extremely irate & combative, stating “our doctor is very busy and he has a life” “what exactly do you want me to”.
