I'm beyond impressed with my Black Gold in-floor heat! Radiant heat coming from the entire floor feels so much better than noisy, dry, drafty air from a vent. I installed 3600 watts of Black Gold mats under a luxury vinyl floating floor. That's the maximum load for one thermostat, which is sufficient for my 370 square foot room in Kentucky. Some of the perimeter remains unheated, which is fine since that floor is under couches and shelves. Superior customized product.
I suffer from extreme rheumatoid arthritis. I decided since I was going to change out my flooring in the bathroom any way, I wanted to add electric radiant floor heat. My flooring contractor chose to use Gold Heat radiant floor heat mats because of the reliability of the product, and he was able to install the mat and tile the same day...which saved him time and I got a new floor faster. It is the best thing I've ever done for my house and my arthritis. My dog loves the new heated floors, too.
Gold Heat radiant floor heat has saved my life. The builder installed Gold Heat in my new customized home (and I don't know why I've gone so long without floor hea). It feels so nice to have constant warmth aimed at my aching joints..
