They installed a radon mitigation system when we bought the house 8 years ago. The system itself works fine but they ran a PVC pipe through our floor joist to allow the pipe to exit the house. A few months ago I noticed water damage in that joist directly under the pipe. Called them to see what I should do. Their response was that the service work is good for 1 year so thry are not responsible. They then told me to either try to find/seal the leak myself or get a building contractor. If I could give 0 I would. We built a Hearthstone home less than 5 years ago. They used Arid for the foundation work. We currently have a leak in our basement and Arid is refusing to follow through on a warranty of their work. Bad business practice. Hearthstone may have gone under, but that does not excuse Arid from backing up their work.
