It is one month ago today that I had the PAE procedure performed by Dr. Ari Isaacson. I had this procedure done after having an extremely enlarged prostate that cut off my ability to pass urine. I wanted to write to thank Dr. Isaacson for performing the PAE procedure for me. The symptoms that I experienced were exactly the ones outlined in the discharge instructions. Although during the first two weeks it felt like the urge to urinate would last forever now after four weeks, I feel much better. The urgency to urinate happens less often, flow has improved, I feel like I am emptying my bladder easier, and I am only getting up once at night!
