Great place to take visitors This is high on my list of recommendations when friends come to visit. It takes an entire evening ?? but well worth the effort. The fish is superb and exposure to local tradition interesting.

worth the trip One of those Things To Do With Out-of-Town Guests. The trip over and back on the boat is relaxing. Once you get to the island everything is staged beautifully and generally stops short of crossing the line to overt tourism commercialism. They do a nice job of respectfully presenting the heritage of the original people of this area, even if the plank smoked salmon won't be the best you've ever eaten.

A Taste of the Native Northwest This is a great way to see the Puget Sound, native Northwest landmarks, and a great boat ride. The Tillicum Village has been a part of the Seattle tourism industry for a long time. I remember going as a child and it seemed like one of the fun things you do whenever you visit Seattle. Seattle is full of rich Indian culture and this is a great way to get a taste of it. The people are very nice on the tour and it's great for kids. Just be aware of the weather before you plan to go.

So so tour but a great island I like our native heritage and I think everyone should try to take a trip to the village. It offers a great boat ride and so so food. If nothing else it is a good way to see the puget sound and listen to a little local indian folklore. The price is kind of steep and that is why I give it a 3 star and not 4.
