Planned an event at the Dana Hotel Rooftop and they doublebooked so we ended up here instead. It was great for making do, but again, unfortunate to have to plan everything at the last minute. The staff was extremely helpful. Food was pretty good - sliders were decent. It seemed like they had a pretty good happy hour menu from 5-7 including sliders, shrimp cocktail, oysters, and wings.

We ended up at Argent because it was the only place that had availability on a Saturday night at 7:30PM. I'm not sure why it wasn't full; the experience was great. We had a couple of sushi rolls, some oysters, the foie gras, the tuna tar tar and the french fries with gravy. The food was excellent, the decor as excellent, the service was whatever is above "Excellent" and is the reason to dine here. We enjoyed appetizers (which were fantastic) and deserts (which were good). Appetizers were small portions of tasty items, all special, and all clearly well-thought-out. The service, though, was what made the experience. Had dinner with friends at Argent the other night. I had the lobster bread for the main course which was great but the highlights were the salad and the dessert. The caesar salad is one of the most unique I've ever had and I could have licked my plate when I was finished with it. Next time I might just have to order two caesars.
