This agency is a complete joke. I was told there were jobs in a very specific industrial area and was told to COME RIGHT IN. They had jobs immediately, but when I came in. I had to be there at a certain time, but wasted three hours on my initial interview. I was given a job where I worked with a bunch of #\$%\$ amish workers. I went onto their online site to see if they had jobs and applied to all of them. I received a call from a neighboring branch, now they called me and they had no idea who I was or why I called!? I have worked for Area Temps on and off since 2004 and, every time I have needed work, they has always helped me out (and)...kept me working. I have worked short-term, long-term and temp-to-perm assignments. I have gone permanent at a few of the companies and, due to layoffs, I have always been able to come back to Area Temps and find employment. They provide you with ridiculous jobs and the pay is crap! When its time to pay you your money they play games. They need to be reported once again to the Better Business Bureau. Awful temp agency besides Stanley Staffing. These two places needs to be investigated. Stay away from both of them....

DO NOT use any of the Area Temp offices!!! They totally suck!!! Especially Michelle at Parma and Mike over at the Lakewood branch. Even Amy is worthless over in Mayfield Heights. They will call you with crap jobs but then when they get a good paying job that fits your qualifications they dont call you or even tell you about the open position. Very unprofessional staff. I would love for the owner of this company to publish an email or phone number for complaints. Save yourself time and dead end leads. Use another search firm.
