Kurt did a very thorough inspection and maintenance on my HVAC system. I’ve been with area heating and cooling for about seven years now. I believe he is the most qualified out of the other 12 technicians that have serviced our system. He is very Professional and knowledgeable on Trane systems.
Chris called ahead, was on time, friendly, answered all my questions, left the areas he worked in clean and orderly. He also made some suggestions for the future.
Kurt explained every aspect of the analysis process of our 5 year old American Standard HVAC gas furnace. He scoped the heat exchanger and found a small crack forming, informed me the part warranty coverage was 20 years, and then provided a labor-only estimate. Kurt also looked into my external condensate line question ( it froze solid last February), and provided me with guidance if my insulation job wasn’t enough to prevent future freezing (e.g., plug in heat tape/strip on freezing days).
