What a disappointment. To the owners: you have built a beautiful hotel in a fabulous location but you are not 4 star. You don’t offer breakfast and your staff are not kind and helpful. Particularly the front desk staff need a serious attitude reset.
Superb 5 star hotel on the ocean in Townsville. We stayed 2 nights, and the room we had even on level 1 had a sensational outlook, and was spacious and very comfortable. The roof top bar and pool on level 7 has to be the best vantage point to look across the city to The Strand, Castle Hill, and to Magnetic Island. We spent two afternoons at the infinity pool looking across from the roof top to Magnetic Island. We lunched on level 7 and also at the fantastic Japanese restaurant in the hotel, Terasu. Had a wonderful stay at the Ardo. The Ocean View Corner Suite was luxurious and offered stunning wraparound views. My meal at Marmor was absolutely delectable.
