I have had problems in the past with a few issues at this surgery but It's nice to be able to report some positive feedback. I saw a G.P today that was extremely thorough in addressing my concerns and discussed all aspects with me. They provided potential solutions and the next steps forwards. This was a very positive visit and good healthcare.
I honestly don't know what to do. I've phoned the surgery 3 times for help getting my repeat prescription. The first lady said I had to come in. Then someone in a pharmacy said I should do it with the repeat prescription app so I did that. And then it said I had to phone the surgery and it took 2 calls but everything was set up. The lady in the surgery was nice and said everything would be waiting for me at Asda to pick up. I've just been to Asda and it isn't there. THere is no record of anything for me. Been here three times — always called ahead and got an appointment. I’ve been seen by different GPs each time, and all of them were great: professional, efficient, and helpful. No complaints at all.
This is small practice focussed on a challenging community. If you have some expectation of care, respect and empathy you may find it difficult here. If you are young, vulnerable or old don’t register at this practice. If you are LGBQ, you will find a sympathetic reception. If you’re female and not British maybe not so much. Be careful, there are much better primary care services in Brighton, finding them is very hard, but this place is not one you should consider
