Like Many nursing homes, this one has fairly standard looks and feel - food is ok and the environment is what you'd expect from a long -term care facility .But what really stood out to me wasn't the building or the meals - it was watching the Nurse Practitioner care for a resident who was not even my family member. Aides nasty few nurses but one really stuck out very sweet and caring bruna nurse practitioner I give her a 5 star
My main problem with this place is the food. It's not great but that's not the big issue. The biggest problem is they don't follow instructions. I told them in multiple occasions that I don't eat eggs yet they still gave me eggs. On top of that I cannot eat turkey because I will have a gout attack. And still They gave me turkey on 4 occasions. My other issue is their elevator was not working for about a month. I toured with Nancy Lewis and I can tell you that she truly made me feel as though this would be a great home for my loved one. Her compassion and grace during our visit was nothing more than amazing. The building is clean, new and beautiful. I look forward to future plans with her!
Recently I spent 3 weeks at the Arden House for rehabilitation after breaking my leg. Although I do have some mixed opinions about being there I will truthfully say it was not all bad. I'll start with the staff that I saw daily who were attentive, kind, funny and very helpful. In my opinion there was quite a few who deserve five stars.
