When it was time to find care for my father, I toured many facilities in northern NJ. Besides determining a place which would best care for his dementia, wanted a facility which offered a reasonable amount of outdoor space which was comfortable and inviting. As basic as these requirements are, it was difficult to find a place with such space. Stepping into ARDEN COURT in Wayne, New Jersey, after seeing a multitude of nursing care, facilities, was a transforming experience. Never did I experience such a well-thought-out environment for dementia care. It was inviting and meticulously clean. The activities were inventive and engaging for all the residents. Place was very comfortable and very clean. Decorated very cute. The staff is well trained, polite and super polite and helpful. The director kathey harrison was exceptional, always was very caring and helpful. They gave my mom the greatest care, was very patient with her with her dementia, kept family members very aware of everything. Ty arden courts! The staff coordinators activities are exceptional!
Arden Courts in Wayne was the answer to our prayers. Mom had Lewy Bodies Dementia and was becoming difficult to care for properly. The open, calm and loving nature of the people and the facility was perfect for her. We could tell she was relieved to be in an atmosphere that allowed her to move freely and be her very best self in the stage she was experiencing.
