We did the 5 day hut to hut dog sledding tour. It exceeded all of our expectations and hopes . Lisbet and Nils were very engaging and taught us so much about the Alaska wilderness, self reliance and of course dog sledding from harnessing sledding and then getting the dogs settled at night. It was great fun, even for us who are more than 65, to not wash for 5 days except for alcohol hand wipes and spray, sleep on blowup mattresses and sleeping bags in cabins as a group of 4 adults and 3 dogs inside. Absolut großartige Erfahrung. Lisbeth betreibt ihren Kennel mit großer Liebe und Fürsorge für ihre über 40 Huskies. Man merkt es den Hunden an, dass sie Lisbet absolut verehren. Die Schlittenfahrt mit den Hunden war extrem eindrucksvoll und das Highlight unseres Alaska Urlaubes. Unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Amazing experience, and I cannot recommend Arctic Dog Adventure enough. It is a bit physical; I am in good not great shape and was able to enjoy the full day of dog mushing. You need to be able to balance and help the dogs when going uphill by pushing the sled a bit. There is some upper body strength needed to hang on and use your legs to push while the dogs are pulling. This was a definite highlight of our visit to Alaska! Nicole was very thorough with instruction, being pleasant and professional. It was exhilarating to drive a sled with a beautiful siberian huskey team! We also appreciated that she and Ryan took some pictures of our group in action as you might not be comfortable doing that yourself as you're busy driving your sled. Lisbet and Story were also both kind and welcoming, adding to the positive vibes that set the tone for this adventure.

What an incredible day! Ryan and Nicole were thorough, patient, and very friendly as they led us through our mushing tour. The dogs were so excited to pull our sleds, and it’s obvious they are well cared for. 10/10 recommend and would absolutely do this again. Don’t debate anymore - just book it!
