Some friends and I joined the Aurora overnight tour and had a blast! The entire experience was such a joy. The scenery was beautiful, the dogs were a delight, and I particularly appreciated how we were taught not just how to mush, but also how to harness / unharness the dogs. I have always wanted to go dog sledding. But not just sit in a sled, I wanted to drive a sled by myself, and not just anywhere, I wanted to drive a sled in Alaska. Finding Arctic Dog Adventure Company out of Fairbanks, I found the perfect trip for me. Their Aurora overnight had everything I could ask for.
