Mailed in 3 old (but lightly used) jackets using their trade-in for store credit policy and they decided that one of the jackets was not up to snuff. It was even the least worn and newest one of the 3. So they did not give a store credit for that jacket AND they kept it. I bet this is shady dealings where they’ll still put it out for sale and make money at my expense. My friend from China recently visited the Arc'teryx Burrard Street store while visiting Vancouver. He purchased two jackets—one for a man and one for a woman—and confirmed the styles and sizes with a Mandarin-speaking staff member. However, after returning to China, He discovered that both jackets were women’s styles due to a packing error made by the store. I always feel like they could put more stuff in the stores, but I guess that's the luxury aesthetics they are going for... Unfortunately did not have in stock the backpack I was interested in.
