Today (08 /19/2025 at 11:15) I stopped by to grab a snack. An older woman at the register started talking out loud to her coworker about how I was dressed strangely and even commented on the snacks I bought — basically discussing me right in front of me. Then she said, “Well, fine, I’m being nice today,” — what’s that supposed to mean? After that she told me I should smile. I’m just curious, is it really part of her job to force customers to smile? I was simply exhausted because I had a 24-hour work shift today.
