I had a very disappointing experience at the ARCO on 765 E St in Chula Vista this morning (around 7:20–7:30 AM). I had an issue where the gas nozzle appeared to be working, but the pump meter was not registering. When I brought this to the attention of the employee who identified herself as the manager (Mayra), the situation was handled very poorly. This morning I had an emergency. At 5:30am I was getting on the fwy to go to work and my tire light came on. I exited the next exit with my hazard lights on just thinking my tire needed air. I tried to use my card to pay at the machine but it wasn’t working so I went to ask inside for the code for air and the cashier’s response to me after he gave me code and I said excuse me because I didn’t understand him since he mumbled the number he said “ARE U AWAKE?” And I again said excuse me? I went here super early in the morning and received excellent service. Good gas station, I highly recommend it.
Some of the worst customer service I have dealt with. Beware of this place make shure they are listening to you and put your money on the right pump. Otherwise they will try and steal your money and say that you gave them the wrong pump number and someone else pumped your gas. We have been long time customers of this gas station due to convenience, the customer service has always been poor. But today they took it to another level. These people need to be retrained or fired. Shame on you ARCO. Who is really in charge here ?
