used car dealer approach to after care Great selection and nice showroom, some indifferent designers some very good. We purchased tiles for a re-model and got to much, upon return not only had we been sold a discontinued line (with no discount) but we had gone over the return time by a week leaving us with useless tile (that they had overestimated we needed). Dissapointing that the aftercare resembles a used car dealer and does not reflect the quality of the front end. Shame really

big rip off I was given a quote on tile for a remodel. It was about 25% higher than the manufacturer's suggested retail. I could buy it cheaper at a store in Hawaii that I had used and have it shipped to Virginia than buy it several miles from my home and pick it up. I think they only care about working with designers.

Fantastic selection This shop has some of the most beautiful tile available, especially the higher end lines. The service leaves much to be desired though. I waited over an hour for a salesperson to help me with my selection. Granted the store was busy but that amount of time is unacceptable. After all that the salesperson couldn't quote me a price on the tiles I selected and had to fax me a price quote 3 days later! There prices are higher on basic tiles, similar to other shops on their speciality lines.

Not impressed Last year, I visited Architectural Ceramics’ Rockville showroom when I was renovating my small powder room. Their designer tried to steer me towards some of their more expensive items, which were completely impractical for my space. And when I emailed to say I wanted to try different finishes, she never responded. Against my better judgment, I ventured back a few weeks ago when I was starting my family bathroom remodel. I was shocked and amazed to discover that they carry very reasonably-priced stock tiles, i... read more

Poor Service and Expensive This tile store is very over priced. You can get some of the exact same tile at Home Depot. While they are helpful and enthusiastic, I was assured I was purchasing the right amount of tile for the dimensions I had, and found myself having to go back to get more because the designer was incorrect. I also wrote to customer service and never heard back. They have a large selection, but I would not go back

Shop around...not here! The products are overpriced. I went to one of their distributors that had the same floor tile for a quarter of the price I paid there. Customer Service needs a revival...major of salespersons walk around with nasty "air" about themselves. The showroom is nice to view for IDEAS only! Shop around...trust me you can get more bang for your buck and better service else The only reason I purchased here was I had a gift certificate I didnt want to waste Will never buy here again!!!

Designer Service If you need a lot of guidance this is the place, they have a great selection and patient employees. You have to make an appointment and should just know that going in...they will try and help without an appointment but you will likely get frustrated! So make it easy on yourself, make an appointment! I would use them for dramatic bathrooms, but not the simple ones..they are pricey in comparision to other stores..but they do deliver and stand behind their product. Carly was great help in assisting us--actually... read more
