With over 30 years in the remodeling industry, our principles Joe and Mary Thompson have completed projects in Fairway, Leawood, Mission Hills, Olathe, Overland Park, and Prairie Village in Kansas and, Kansas City, Missouri. Our strength is in our attention to details as well as our relationships with suppliers, trade partners, and clients. We are strongly motivated to work on older homes where we can integrate the historic elements into the newer work. We are successful when you can't point out the new work from the old.

We loved every minute with worked with the Architectural Craftsmen (AC) group. From helping us design our front porch, discussing the best options and materials for our budget and seeing them meticulously construct our dream porch. Even as busy as AC was with other job sites, there was pretty much someone working on our porch, to get it done ASAP. We hired AC for a significant kitchen/bathroom/family room remodel, wanting particular attention paid to the historic character of our 113-yr-old home. AND it needed to be completed on a tight timeline--before baby #2 arrived. We were very pleased with the entire process and the result. Their team exceeded all expectations from start to finish. We highly recommend them if you want a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, respect for your home and family, and integrity.
Architectural Craftsmen remodeled two bathrooms for us and did an excellent job. They are skilled, knowledgeable, professional. They are careful, have a great team and were good at communication. They are great people to work with. Will definitely use them again.
We hired Architectural Craftsmen to renovation our kitchen and laundry/half bath. I don't know that I've ever met a contractor that is on time, let alone EARLY (now I can I have after working with AC)! Having an older home, I wanted someone who had experience with maintaining the original integrity of our home and they very knowledgeable in everything historical. I would recommend them in heartbeat!
Mary, Joe and Robert were amazing to work with! From beginning to end they demonstrated a high level of professionalism and standard of quality. Our house looks beautiful and we couldn't be happier! We will definitely use them for future projects!
