Just visited Architectural Artifacts for the first time to purchase an item I saw listed on eBay. Fascinating place! Lots of wonderful items to add drama and style to any abode. Both Bob and Jane were very friendly and helpful and are pretty interesting folks. Worth a visit!
I just love this shop! I have found intricate 1908 heating grates to use in my home here, a beautiful old door with a mirror built in, antique hardware, a 1940s glider, and even an Arts and Crafts mantle. I also used some weathered roof corbels to make a breakfast bar in my kitchen! This store is so fun to poke around in, and there are many architectural treasures to discover. Jane and Bob are so knowledgeable about their items, and a delight to chat with otherwise.
Awesome store. We've been there time-and-time again and always find something for our home. Great selection. Bob and Jane are always a pleasure to talk to as well. Really is the best place in Toledo for old, quality items.
