Yes Sir!! – Archies American Diner... I can smell the burgers cooking as I type this. I have frequented this establishment on many occasions. Whenever I plan a trip to Monterey / Pacific grove. I always stop. I love the atmosphere of the place, back in the day my grandad would have called it a joint, and not in a bad way. I mean you walk in and you see a lot of nostalgic replica advertisement signs and other memorabilia, in my opinion it fits the mood of the monterey of yesteryear, back before it was a popular tourist spot. ... read more
Great Food & View! – I was in CA for the MotoGp and tripped over Archie's while wandering around the Aquarium area. Great burgers with great outdoor seating to people watch!

Yuck. – The inside is inexplicably decorated in a hideous red-white-and-blue motif (red checkered plastic tablecloths, blue window trim, a giant gumball machine at the door ("art"?), "We can do it" Rosie the Riveter poster reproduction (Huh? A beautiful atmosphere for the whole family – My family and I went to this fabulous restaurant early this week and was happy to have our children happy so that we could talk. The wonderful decor kept my husband and I entertained while my kids drew and played tic-tac-toe on the table. The many kinds of food fit my kids plain taste and my husbands exquisist taste by providing as resonable meal.
