Very disappointing experience with Archie’s technician. During the service, the technician damaged/scratched someone’s vehicle due to what appeared to be a lack of proper care and attention. Accidents can happen, but technicians working on or around vehicles have a responsibility to take reasonable precautions to prevent damage. When a vehicle is damaged during the job, the company should acknowledge the issue, investigate it properly, and take responsibility where appropriate. You have a technician with ZERO RESPECT for other drivers on the road, who needs to be FIRED. On Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 5:30 PM on Highway 19A, going southbound from Parksville towards Nanaimo, I witnessed one of your service trucks barreling down on drivers and weaving in and out of traffic. I've seen AJPH vans around town for decades and now I needed one. I wasn't strong enough to use the 30ft snake for the washer drain, especially with the angle. The service guy was very friendly, prompt, experienced and courteous and he brought a better tool. Neighbourly is a good word. Also, a quote from one of their competitors was $100 more and it's still not cheap.
I had a mixed experience with this company. The technician who came out was friendly, professional, and did his best to help. I have no complaints about his attitude or customer service. Unfortunately, after multiple service visits and approximately $2,000 in charges, the original issue was still not resolved. I ultimately had to hire a second company, who was able to diagnose and fix the problem.
