My experience with Archetype Kitchen was extremely disappointing. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by staff. The employee I dealt with was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional from the beginning. Their attitude and the way they spoke to me were completely unacceptable and left me feeling humiliated. No customer deserves to be treated this way. Respect and professionalism should be the minimum standard, but unfortunately that was not the case here. We were doing a pantry renovation and were referred to Archetype Kitchens as they are Northern Alberta's only source for Cuisine Ideale cabinets, the best built for the value cabinet manufacture in North America. We first met with April, and eventually had an opportunity to connect with several other team members through the process, and to say the cabinet installer was a perfectionist would be an understatement. Archetype Kitchens and the team there has become one of our biggest success stories in regards to the trades and suppliers we use. The passion and dedication the entire team has to providing an excellent experience helps us elevate the homes we design and build. They come up with innovative ideas, stay on top of trends and are some of the most passionate people I have ever had the opportunity to work with. I have recommended them to my friends and family, who have all had awesome experiences with them.
We had a very disappointing experience with Archetype Kitchens. This project was sold as a “4-day Level 5 install.” It turned into an 8+ month process with deficiencies still unresolved. Despite multiple opportunities, the issues were not properly resolved. Responsibility was repeatedly shifted, and communication became difficult once concerns were raised. The people at Archetype have always been a pleasure to deal with and the work they do is top notch! They just recently helped me with a basement renovation, I brought some ideas to them and they gave me suggestions that made our design even better than I could have imagined.
