A great gym, especially with the access for hotel guests
I love this gym. It has everything and it’s enormous. I’ve done a few classes (excellent) and every staff person is friendly and helpful. As a hotel guest, you can join a class for free at the last minute. if there are open spots (what a perk) or book in advance for just $20. The branding is also lovely and understated. Makes me want to move to Edmonton (almost). Anytime I have a chance to be at the JW Marriott, I’ll find time to enjoy this place.
Pretty decent facility! Kinda wish they had a smith machine or hack squat though.
I've been coming a while and I can say this gym is exceptional. What sets it apart? The owner's dedication. He is hands-on, and his vision and attention to detail are evident in the place. You will often see him around the fitness facilities. This gym isn't just a business venture; it's a personal passion project for a team devoted to delivering excellence and a holistic fitness experience.
It’s okayyyyish. It’s definitely more suited to anyone seeking personal training or a class environment. Lacking a fair bit on the variety of machines in the gym if you’re looking for that. Clients and trainers tend to just leave weights wherever and barely rerack things in the correct order. It’s not the worst place but it’s not my favourite. Staff seem pretty nice overall, couple bad eggs but what can you do.
