My experience at Ferncliff was wonderful. I was there for one week following total left knee replacement surgery. The PT and OT were very skilled, patient, and encouraging--enabling me to return home to continue recovery with confidence within just one week. The supporting staff-- nurses, assistants, administrators, social workers, chaplain---were friendly, clear, and ready to help with a smile. My accommodations were clean and comfortable as well. I am happy to recommend it for post surgical rehab.

Dirty rooms, poor quality nutrition, chaotic administration, policies that break both the patients and families rights to free access at all times, negligence of residents, and poor communication between the staff members themselves, and poor hygiene of residents residing in long-term care. I could go on and on. You should NOT put your loved one here if you care about them at all!
Our loved one was treated with the utmost concern and care and the staff went out of their way to be of assistance!
My wife was at ArchCare at Ferncliff in Rhinebeck for physical and occupational therapy for about 90 days after she broke her ankle. ArchCare was presented to us as having an excellent PT/OT program and we found that to be true. The PT/OT staff was skilled, professional, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and supportive.
