We stayed in the Turtle Rock Cabin. It was perfect for our family. The river just outside the back door was beautiful! The cabins sit right off Hwy 72 so just pack your fan to drown out the noise. The cabins were cleaned and fully stocked with anything we needed to cook! The Poolside cabin is directly connected to the pool and we plan to book that this summer when visiting Johnson's Shut-Ins.
The cabin itself was very clean and tidy but the first surprise was how close it was to the highway! The semi's using their jake-breaks all night made it impossible to sleep! Guess I misunderstood (my fault) about the second bedroom being in the "great room" (which is actually in the living room wall) and didn't look like the picture. The landscaping is horrible and has not been maintained in years! There is no view from either the Poolside cabin or the Turtle Cabin.
