My experience at Arcadia Pittwater Private Hospital was five-star in every way. The combination of expert medical care, compassionate staff, and a beautiful, healing environment is exceptional. I felt genuinely cared for as an individual, not just a patient. The nurses and associated staff are caring, friendly and approachable. Highly recommend this hospital for its outstanding patient care. I couldn't recommend it more highly.
As rehabilitation inpatient after total knee replacement, I can only give 1 star. The clinical care is awful not because the RNs are poor clinically but rather the way the ward operates. It’s a very cookie cutter approach to care. Medications are dispensed when it suits their timetable, not tailored to individual patient needs. The poor RNs don’t have an opportunity to get to know individual patients. RNs don’t do patient handovers with the patient, they do it outside in the corridor. Highly recommend Arcadia Rehab, where I stayed 12 nights after my knee replacement surgery at Mater. It is not easy time, but almost all of the nurses, doctors, physio's & other care staff were excellent. The facilities, food and reception cafe were also top quality 👍🏅
The nursing staff and catering team at Arcadia Pittwater Hospital were outstanding. They showed great kindness, compassion, and care towards my grandmother and great-grandmother during an incredibly difficult time in palliative care. Room 343. Beside the lift bell rings all day with every arrival on the floor multiplies on the weekend with visitors plus staff. You can hear every conversation as the space in front of the door is used as a foyer with continual mobile phone calls greetings and departures. Between the lift and the door to the room is a fire door that is continually used as a revolving door for staff coming and going from the floor above.
