Arcadia is one of the best counseling places. Got to see Scott P for a few months and he helped learn work through some items I had not been able to unpack with other therapists. The receptionists are very sweet and kind. I started going to their Sandy location and it’s a great as this one.
I would not recommend the therapist, Christie. She lacked empathy, sympathy, and canceled a lot. If someone close to you passes away there is no "I'm sorry for your loss", she is a very cold person. She laughs during the sessions when you're talking about serious stuff. Not professional at all. She is in the wrong line of work. She was one of the worst therapists I have ever had. If I could give a negative number of stars, I would.
I love my therapist and the front desk staff is friendly. I am giving 3 stars because it has been so hard for me to schedule here. I am a client who prefers to come on an “as needed” basis, which ends up being about every 3 weeks to once a month. Every time I try to call and schedule, I am told that since I am not a regular client, I have to be put on a cancellation list or a waitlist, and there is no option to schedule out three weeks or into the next month. Natalie is the best Trauma Therapist I’ve ever met. After witnessing my husband suicide and multiple life challenges, she has helped me tremendously. I’ve seen various counselors over the years and she is simply amazing and life-changing. Thank you so much for all you do for me.
We love Arcadia Counseling! Two of our young children struggle with anxiety and a little bit of OCD. We found Michelle Peters at this location, and she is amazing with kids! We have seen REAL improvement in both our kids and their struggles. My wife and I met with Michelle in a parent meeting to discuss our children and their struggles and during this whole process Michelle was so warm, understanding and instilled so much confidence as we spoke with her.
