Heading home from a camping trip on Quadra Island in our 17’ travel trailer and noticed one wheel was getting very hot. Stopped at Arbutus in Melville. They were able to help us right away. The staff was all friendly and helpful. They had the parts we needed in stock and had us on our way very quickly. And the price was very fair. I’ve been ripped off in the past by opportunistic garages but Arbutus treated us really well.
Ridiculous prices! Stopped to get some waste digester for the RV toilet. $28!! Other stores sell the same thing for $17. Save yourself the trip. Don’t go here.
My mother had been quoted for her RV and possible maintenance/inspection would be about 5 hours of work so she was quoted for that. What needed to be done took about two hours and he initially couldn't find the a/c switch so that took up time up reinspect the RV's a/c for twenty more minutes to find out it works like normal.. I went for moral support with my good friend Dave when he purchased a camper for his brand new truck. However when he had verified with the Ford salesman that the truck was a “long box” he assumed it was an 8” box and when they went to put the camper on it was only 6.5”. So when Dave came back up island for the install and this was realized they informed him they did not feel it would be safe for him to drive with the centre of gravity of the camper so far back on his truck.
