Been going here for about 2Y. Was recently badgered for being 9 minutes late (the grace period is 15-20min) despite me living over 40 minutes away and having to go through Ann Arbor traffic AND when I’ve gotten there early and on time everytime before I’ve still had to wait nearly an HOUR for a 5 minute appointment. This place was great when they had enough staff. Unfortunately, their best NP, Claire, left. And they advertise fertility care clinics to help you help yourself, but they don’t actually work with these fertility care people so even if you’ve been doing something that’s working for you, Arbor Woman won’t help you in that. I’ve been coming to this office for years, including during both of my pregnancies, and have always enjoyed the care and attention I received. Especially, when Claire was there. However, my most recent experience left me disappointed. I scheduled my appointment months in advance and arranged it during my work break. After waiting for 30 minutes to be seen, I was informed that I would need to reschedule and come back another day. I had a great experience with my midwife but unfortunately the on call nurse staff was not great. One nurse in particular continued to leave me feeling dismissed, and put down for calling with my concerns. It was hard to get into contact with anyone in a timely manner as well.
This is our second pregnancy with Arbor Woman. We greatly appreciated Arbor Woman with our first pregnancy, but this pregnancy has been an unpleasant experience. One of my main issues is the inability to talk to anyone at the office. They recently switched to a phone answering system that has you leave a message instead of connecting you with a person.
