Management of this park is a friggin' joke. Only here to collect a paycheck, park has gone to Hell since it opened due to mgmnt SELECTIVELY enforcing rules & not addressing tenants needs. Owner very crass, cheap, & greedy.
There has been inprovements in Southwood since Sun Purched it And it turning the mobile home into an apartment situation. Instead of ownership which means the the homes won't be taken careof or keeped up. And also they have raised the rent to the point that some people living in the park can't afford to live and are moving out.
Becoming a Ghetto! – I have live at Meadowbrook for several years and it has gone through several property managers. In the last 6 months or so the place has really gone down. Kids running the streets, smoking and walking around with 40 ounce beers not to mention disrespectful to others property. This used to be a decent place to live - I can't wait until my lease is up to get out of here. Turning into a gang hangout and drug traffic area – Meadowbrook is a lovely community as far as the streets and the lovely trees when first entering the community's entrance. It is kept up half decent recently. There is rash a lot of the time around the mailbox area near the office from inconsiderate tenants dropping their mail etc and not picking it up.. The past grounds keeper kept that area pressure washed and cleaned up but the last 3 ground keepers just leave it there and tentants usually clean it up an that is the ones... read more
Not a recommendable community to reside – I do not recommend this place to anyone unless you like having drug addicts who work at the pool in the summer.If you like living in a community that has a gang of guys and gals who are disrespectful to the adult tentants and who will hold you at gun point and take your money and car. Hacks... – This place is a joke! They are horrible in the office, the manager doesnt have a clue what hes doing. They NEVER fix anything. They dont return your calls and NEVER answer the phone in the office! They are super rude and just all around ridiculous! the community is crap and the ppl in it are dill holes! If i could i would be out of here! Dont move in here if you can prevent it!
Worst place ever.. – I lived in this park about 10 years ago. It was the worst experience I ever had. The plumbing in the park was so bad, they would turn off everyones water if one trailer had an issue. Also I told management there was a peeper in the park. He would peek in mine, and my neighbors windows. They already knew of the issue, and felt it should not be addressed. I recently went back to see the park and the new highway area. Your last ditch effort to stay off the streets. – This place is littered with "for sale" signs and I wondered why when looking for a house to rent here. But buyer beware has no precedence when you have 5 kids and on the cusp of a foreclosure. Authority Crazed Management – After my cay was missing for a few days, I posted LOST signs, but they were removed hours later. When I called the management to find out if they were removed for some reason, I was told it was against the rules. Although I do understand this rule, I was frustrated, and hung up on the manager Mike. He left the office and drove to my home within minutes, going on about the fact that he shouldnot be hung up on.
