I would not recommend! This was the worst experience I’ve ever had . They did not respect me or my partner. They willingly took our money! Once we in the hospital they were just very rude . They did not do anything according to the plan we had with them . I would never use them again . If I could give them negative starts I would . Please please go where you are respected! I went to Arbor ObGyn to get an IUD when I was 17 years old and they did a great job at making me feel comfortable and educated on the process. The first lady I spoke to who took my weight and blood pressure called me beautiful anytime she asked me to do something which was the sweetest ever. The insertion took less than 6 minutes it was crazy and I was in and out in 15 minutes tops. Will absolutely be going back for anything in the future
I had a wonderful experience with Arbor OB/GYN during my pregnancy. The care was truly professional, and all the staff were kind and supportive. I delivered my son in December 2024 with Dr. Alvarez, and everything went smoothly. Dr. Alvarez was incredibly caring and helped keep me calm throughout the process — I never felt overwhelmed. Nothing but a five-star experience with both Arbor and UNC Rex!

***UPDATE: POST-FIRST BIRTH EXPERIENCE*** Switching from this practice after almost 2 years because of Meghan Presnell. She’s induction happy (tried to talk us into an induction WEEKS before there was even a problem because of the doctor’s rotation schedules. That was her sole reasoning at the time). And she seemed all too happy to send me to induction with borderline BP (probably biased against me because of my weight) and didn’t even bother being thorough enough to realize I had taken a medication for an unrelated illness ... read more
