Rude owner and misleading listing. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It claims to be “on Lake Erie,” but it’s actually located far inland—about as far from the water as you can get on the island. Don’t be fooled by the description. Based on my experience, you’re unlikely to have a pleasant stay. I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

Overall, it's a nice quiet place, especially compared to the spring break hotels. We had the four-person loft that just me and my wife ended up staying in, but when we brought a friend over to check out the place and see if they wanted to stay there in the future, they charged us $20 for them to eat breakfast here. Also, array of beverages in lobby but every time you grab one it's warm, girls don't seem to know how to rotate inventory and put newer stuff in the back.

We loved everything about this B & B! Mike and Susan were wonderful hosts, and were attentive, but not at all intrusive. Breakfast was delicious; rooms very clean; beds comfortable; and the central a/c was a plus! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with friends that met us from another state. When the downtown area started to get fired up and crazy for the holiday weekend, we just came back to the B & B to relax. Will definitely be back!!

This is by far the best place to stay on the island! The owners are the nicest folks and great cooks! You won't find a cleaner place anywhere in Northwest Ohio! They have golf carts for rent and free bicycles so getting around is never a problem. The gardens are spectacular and the location is great for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend.
