Abbi helped me through more than I could ever imagine. Very conscious of my needs and tailored her work to the style of counseling I was looking for. Cant recommend her enough!
I give a lot of grace to people and businesses but this is a therapist office I would never recommend, especially for kids. The provider that was assigned to us, Abbi, chalked our child’s behavior up to “typical kid behavior” and pretty much insinuated he was being a baby and we were dismissed completely. No suggestion for another appointment; just a do what you don’t want to do mentality and for a kid struggling with major anxiety that’s not the answer. But they sure do follow up for their money. My child was being seen it Arbor Family Counseling about 6 months ago. And I have just found out that my child has been having thoughts if suicide and told the therapist so..The therapist never informed me of this!!! My child is a minor. I should have been informed.
I was in their PHP program for 30 days. I saw my counselor once. If you are new to the process you are left completely in the dark. No body comes and explains the process or the resources available. The front desk staff are horrible human beings along with some of the other personnel. People go there when they are their lowest and everyone is so rude and careless.
