Aravilla is staffed with caring and compassionate professionals who are dedicated to providing high quality care and services. The independent, assisted living and memory care areas are all top notch in terms of cleanliness, security and each area provides a robust variety of entertainment and social activities. In all, this is one of the best places you can consider for the care of a loved one.
In my opinion, the current management should not be operating a Memory Care residence. They very quickly medicated and moved my mom from Assisted Living to MC at there beginning of the pandemic. My mother remained over medicated and in a zombie like state for over a year. The house doctor refused to try mom on different medication, and after two serious falls, which landed Mom in the hospital, I was told by the doctor & nurse treating her, that a common side effect of this medication is balance issues & dizziness. RecommendedThere is nothing negative to say about Aravilla. The staff is caring, smart , organized and compassionate. The communication with the families about daily life and the response to Covid 19 is consistent and detailed. Their handling of the threat of Covid 19 with their residents has been remarkable. My mother is happy and safe at Aravilla. They do everything possible to help her navigate any situation that occurs in her life, whether its medical or the social connection to her family that lives up North. Aravilla is taking such great care of my parents (and all the residents) during this COVID 19 crisis—-it gives me and my family great peace of mind in a time when we have lots of anxiety. You are the best and we thank-you so much for all that you do!
This facility should be shut down for its treatment of patients and their families. My father was in manageable health until this place loaded him up on meds and now he's dying. My mother is almost always berated by staff whenever she calls to speak with him, and she has to jump through hoops to get through. Today she was scolded and disrespected by a man after asking to speak with him. Shame on this facility for taking advantage of desperate families wanting the best for their loved ones.
My Aunt was moved from assisted living at BAYVILLAGE in October of last year 2019. BAYVILLAGE failed miserably when she moved from independent living to assisted living. She was not taken care of properly I would never recommend BAYVILLAGE to anyone. ARAVILLA HAS BEEN A GOD-SENT!!! The staff is amazing THEY know what their doing. My mother in-law was also in the memory care wing, she was treated with respect and care. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Patricia

Rooms are nice...common areas on each of the 3 floors. Food is great. With choices at each meal. Everyone is very helpful. 😊😋😉
