I got a chase credit card then lost my job. Chase didn’t work with me but ARA did and set me up on a reasonable plan and let me miss a couple of payments cause $$ got tight.
I paid an AT&T bill but they apparently sold it anyway. These guys called and when I expained that it was paid but I don't have any letter from them they were nice enough to research it and in fact found out that AT&T screwed p and closed it. You don't usually hear anything good about collection agency, but I have to say this company was very professional.
I had a bill that I didn't pay, to be real I wished it went away, it didn't, got a call from Miss Harmon at ARA Inc. She was OK she gave me a decent settlement, I got to admit its better having it paid instead of it hanging over my head. Miss Harmon your OK.
I have been trying to clear up my credit for the last 2 years and it improved a lot but there was one account for a little over $1.400 that I had disputed with the credit bureau because of a $553 charge that wasn’t mine and visa refused to take off. For three years no one would negotiate with me until I talked to these guys, In the course of a ten minute conversation they settled it for the amount that I agreed I owed and took it off my credit bureau report. As collection agencies go they are really good.
Not to bad, paying a bill sucks, but these guys made it ok. They gave me a settlement, now the bill isoff my credit, Bill Johnson, thanks dude
