I drop my engine short block off to have it clean and honed. Was going let him assemble it. He told me I needed new pistons and hone wouldn’t work. Said he had to bore it 3 thousand of a inch witch he did not do he just honed the block did not clean the block couldn’t order nothing for my engine I pick it up was just trying help out a small business and needed less to stay I wouldn’t take nothing there his review must be friends. I took my 1968 Ford 302 block to Eric to have it machined after it had been sitting around for almost 30 years. It seriously looks like a brand new block. This is my first engine rebuild and he took some time out of his day to steer me in the right direction with certain parts. I highly recommend if you are in need of any kind of engine machine work, Eric is the guy! Thank you again. I'll see you on the next one.

Eric at AR-1 has built 4 high performance ls engines and a couple of sprint car engines for me. Eric is professional, the shop is always clean, and the engines he builds are second to none

Honestly I appreciate all the time he took to both make sure that everything both would perform to the maximum and have a long life in my opinion he is the best his work speaks for it self he is both very knowledgeable and professional thank you for all the work you have done for me over the years I would not take anything anywhere else
