What a wonderful way to exercise! In the water. It’s so much more fun than ordinary exercise. It’s a great workout and you actually look forward to it. Try it. You won’t be disappointed. Everyone there is so helpful. You won’t feel intimidated like at a gym. You work at your own level. No pressure. Each session it gets easier. I did some personal training and Ron was super patient with me. He has a great personality and worked with me to get ready for my classes I signed up for. Give it a try.
I’m going into my 3rd week of Aquatic Physical Therapy. They are a professional cohesive team. I am happy at how productive I feel in the water. The therapists are positive and encouraging. I’m looking forward to continuing to get stronger with the goal of strengthening my leg muscles and balance for more independence walking, as well as be able to take Aquatic Fitness classes. Highly recommend.
Where do I start - the trainers are top- notch, the staff is amazing and my experience here has been truly one of a kind. The exercise programs are incredibly beneficial - you’ll definitely get a workout like no other. My only regret is I didn’t find this place sooner. Good job APT!
I like working with all the trainers at APT at the Quakerbridge location. I particularly wanted to give a big shout to Lucia for her excellent training skills she brings in to the the tread-shed sessions. She makes sure that the patrons get the much needed exercise for legs and lower body on the treadmill and nicely balancing it with off the treadmill aerobic exercises without compensating the treadmill time. She is encouraging and pushes just enough to get me going and remain motivated throughout the session!
The BEST workout ever. They offer 3 general class types... one for cardio & strength, one uses the treadmills (that are in the pool), and the third is a cycle class (also in the water). Fast paced and always a bit different, the classes avoid that boring "10 reps 3 times" mindset. And now, with the startup of the Therapy division, APT truly takes care of the whole body... improving health and giving the tools to maintain that health.
