We had a great experience overall. The accommodation met our expectations and provided excellent quality throughout our stay. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, making everything easy and enjoyable. One of the highlights was the beautiful view of the ocean and Magnetic Island. We booked for 10 nights in order to explore the region. Allocated a horrible room, very tired and shabby. Fixtures & fittings scuffed & dated. Bath/shower dirty with ingrained stains. TV needed constant resetting. Nice pool but inadequate number of shade umbrellas. Reception staff surly & unhelpful. Redeeming features, great location & views. Would not stay here again .
I hate stingy places. They provided three of those little thimbles of milk (which hold 20ml) for two people. It's not unreasonable to think travellers would have a cuppa when they arrive, one in the evening and another in the morning. So our ration was two teaspoons of milk per cup. This stinginess and an unsmiling, unwelcoming reception detracted from what would otherwise have been a good find.
