Stayed here a few years ago and loved it. If you want a quiet, peaceful and scenic stay in Townsville, then you have to choose the Aquarius on the Beach. The location cannot be beaten with the Beach on your doorstep. Please note, the Bay has jellyfish and stingers, so if you're not used to them, best to stick to the swimming inside the grounds of the hotel.
