After doing lots of research and watching multiple Utube videos we decided to go with Aquagaurd 5000 for our DIY hot tub refinishing project. We have never worked with epoxy before and Dennis and Dustin walked us through the project every step of the way. Those guys really know what they are doing because they actually do it themselves. Lots of tips and tricks to make for a successful job. Couldn’t be happier with our “new” hot tub refinishing project.

My experience with Aquatic guard 5000 has been nothing short of a nightmare. Initially, the product sounded too good to be true, and unfortunately, that turned out to be the case. The problems began when the primer created significant issues in my pool. Despite the glowing claims made by the owner, the product did not perform as advertised. I had to have the primer installed removed due to the fact that it will completely dry after 15days and decided not to go forward with the painting.
